In 2022 I gave a series of talks about the idea of Sustainable UX at conferences like PUSH in Munich or World Usability Day Estonia in Tallinn to describe the idea of Sustainable UX and how putting the user into the center of our doing becomes a problem.

In the talk back then I gave a vision and concrete ideas about sustainable UX and what YOU can do within and through your work as a (UX-)designer. At PUSH we also gave a workshop. Christoph Stark and me facilitated two 1-hour workshops with overall 80 designers working on specific Sustainable Development Goals and how they are related to our work as designer and how we can influence them with our work.

Thorsten Jonas is the Founder of the SUX Network and SUX Academy and a Sustainable UX and Responsible AI consultant and keynote speaker. He is guiding teams and companies in crafting sustainable, responsible and ethical digital products and co-leads as invited expert the UX Chapter of the W3C Web Sustainability Guidelines.
